Uptown Drive has the talent and experience to seamlessly work your customizations into our existing knockout party sets, helping to curate a truly personalized program. Our dedicated and professional team will work seamlessly with your other vendors and we offer all kinds of great extras to exceed the expectations of our wedding clients.

Non-Stop Dance Sets

We've meticulously arranged our favorite dance songs into medleys to ensure a packed dance floor for the entirety of the night. We have the ability to mix in your desired amount of Motown, soul, jazz, pop, country and top40 - showcasing a great variety of styles to your taste and featuring the outstanding musicianship of the band members. When we say the music doesn't stop we mean it! Our wedding DJ services are the perfect combination to the live music and keep the dance party going for the entirety of your reception. The master of ceremonies duties are also a standard part of our wedding package which help to seamlessly transition from cocktails to the special dances, dinner, cake cutting, and more.

WEDDING MUSIC RESOURCE

We can help round out music for your ceremony and source the perfect harpist, string quartet, classical, cocktail bands or any other requested wedding musicians within our local Austin, TX network. Other services include a compact and professional ceremony sound system, decor lighting and an assortment of microphones (including lavaliers)... a wedding band and a full service vendor! On a budget and still want beautiful classical music? Our ceremony setup includes the DJ services to manage the music for prelude, recessional, processional and postlude.

Uptown Drive is a 6-piece and we offer our brass, the Cap City Horns, a la carte to provide options on the band's instrumentation. We'd definitely recommend the horns to our clients looking for that vintage Motown & Soul feel!

Dinner & cocktail Hour

Led by bandleader and saxophonist Greg Williams, our jazz set features the musicianship of the rhythm section behind wonderful instrumental improvisation and light vocal standards. We pride ourselves in being able to play a fun and energetic dinner / cocktail set while respecting the volume to never get in the way of conversation. We've invested in the repertoire for this portion of the night to be able to compliment the elegance of your wedding and create the right ambiance to begin your night of celebration.
